PlayCore Releases The Science of Play™ | GameTime Canada

GameTime’s parent company, PlayCore, recently released a new publication by Dr. Stuart Brown, founder of the National Institute for Play and Scholarly Writer in Residence for PlayCore. The publication is titled The Science of Play™ and features a combination of articles by Dr. Brown.

As a world-renowned expert on play, Dr. Brown has written and lectured on the value of play in numerous public and scholarly forums and has directed and produced several documentaries and learning series on play for networks such as CBS, PBS and BBC. He has also presented a Ted Talk on play and authored the book Play: How It Shapes the Brain, Opens the Imagination, and Invigorates the Soul.
