Good News: in Parks™ is a fast-paced, interactive Zoom show that brings together leading parks and recreation professionals to share great ideas. On September 24, 2020, we will broadcast our sixth episode: Great Places to Play. Among our guests for the episode is Rachel Bedingfield, parks director from the Town of Kentville, Nova Scotia.

## A Unique Perspective

Rachel is our first guest from Canada, and we are excited to have her on the panel for this important episode. More than ever, people need play in their lives. Rachel's perspective on creating play and recreation spaces in Nova Scotia is highly valued by her peers in Canada and in the United States.

She is the Canadian Women & Sport Award Winner- Top 25 Most Influential Women in Canada in Sport and Physical Activity, a Parks Task Force Group Member for Canada Parks and Recreation Association, and the Chair of the Provincial Committee for Access and Inclusion to Recreation for Nova Scotia.
